More Modular Knitting
A flare up of an old injury in my hand meant I was unable to hand knit for a few weeks. With some rest and careful knitting, I was able to finish it in time to be included in a contemporary textiles exhibition at 44ad Gallery in Bath.
I would have preferred it if the piece was displayed away from the wall so you can see the back as it's the best bit! The shape of the garment changed as I was knitting it, as I realised I would not have enough dyed yarn to make the full shape originally planned.
One thing I noticed when I was finishing this piece and sewing the many ends in, was how nice the internal seams looked and whether they could be made a feature in future pieces...
