The Boxy Crop 2.0 - Grellow
The Boxy Crop 2.0 - Grellow
Presenting the new and improved boxy crop jumper! I’ve listened to feedback and created version 2.0, which is longer in the body and has a better overall fit.
Created for Autumn 2024 in a limited edition of three colourways, this ‘Grellow’ version contrasts the vibrant yellow of weld dye with the natural grey Shetland-Romney wool. It’s accented with bright oranges dyed with coreopsis and rhubarb root.
The jumper has a loose, drapey fit that is perfect for trans-seasonal dressing and layering. It’s lightly cropped to below the waist, making it perfect for wearing over dresses, long sleeves, with dungarees or with high rise jeans or skirts.
Each boxy crop jumper is knitted with yarns leftover from previous collections and are therefore always a one-off. They are currently only available in one size - please check the measurements below to see if this jumper is a good fit before purchasing. I’m modelling the jumper in the photos - I am 5’7” and wear a size 12.
As with all Ria Burns Knitwear pieces, the yarn used is my bespoke Shetland-Romney lambswool from Fernhill Farm in Somerset. The yarn has been dyed by me using homegrown plants, and knitted on my hand-powered knitting machine in my Bristol home studio.
