These workshops are on pause until 2025 at the earliest.

Would you like to learn how to use a knitting machine and make your own knitwear? Over a 4 hour lesson I will teach you the basics and advise on the various knitting machines that are available to buy. I generally teach on Brother machines, but have Knitmasters in the studio and am adept at using both brands.

Alternatively, if you already have some machine knitting experience and are looking to improve your skills, I can tailor a workshop that suits you e.g. punchcard pattern design. You are more than welcome to bring your own machine to the studio.

This one-to-one workshop generally takes place at my studio on a Friday from 10am-2pm - please select a date from the drop down menu to book one of these.

Other days of the week can be arranged with advance notice. If you wish to arrange a different date, send me an email at hello@riaburns.co.uk to discuss before purchasing.

Please note that my studio is currently upstairs without a ramp or lift access.
